OK, let's put a sharper focus on the final projects. I ensemble piece knows the scene it is working with, and there's a puppet show in the works (what are the dominant themes you're going to work toward for each act?), a children's book (which one and any specifics on its adaptation), a movie trailer (which play), felted costumes, and much more. Share some details, some goals and we'll definitely talk about these in class on Monday.

The ensemble piece has already finalized a cut version of the scene, and it will hopefully be about 15 minutes long. Amalie is gonna be the official director. AJ is Shylock, Kyle is Bassanio, Ross is Antonio, Eric is the Duke, Lindsay is Portia, and Emily is Gratiano. We cut Nerissa's role out (Ouch! That's gotta hurt)
Im doing dolls of the main female characters out of wool, so probably Olivia, Viola, Portia, Adrianna and maybe Nerissa and Lucianna. I want them to look different and have clothing that works well for their character.

Bo and I have yet to discuss exactly what themes we are going for for each act, but each act of Comedy of Errors will receive about a minute of the show. We are still working out the puppets (as the first one I made was faulty in many regards) and are going to start this week working on the script and themes and everything else.
Dashon and I have not decided what scene and act we are going to translate and act out, but it will definitely be in the Merchant of Venice. Once we know how long it is we will get down to business Also, like Grace, Dashon and I are yet to discuss the prominent themes in our project.
what are the activities in this final project? is it an art show or a film screening?
